I just returned from my 6th NY Toy Fair. Every year there seems to be a noticeable decrease in the number of visits from "ma and pa" toy stores. It's a very sad thing, as small business seems to get tougher and tougher. In the neighborhood where I live in Montreal, there is still a very vibrant local toy store. People seem to love this place "Kidlink" as the owners offer the extra service that is not common these days.
I hope we see the day when people return to their small neighborhood stores, the only place you can get great service.

Long live small business!
